KALIL BAT
Dancer. Choreographer. Performer.

Afro-Futurism. Artivism.

Kalil Bat is a dancer and artivist, deeply rooted in lucid spirituality. As an Afro-Creole Queer artist, he develops his concept of "Neo-Masculinity" — a sensual exploration of masculinity infused with his Afro-diasporic heritage.
His body becomes a living archive, both instrument and ritual, transforming performance into a space where art becomes a political gesture and a poetic embodiment of identity, memory, and resistance.
He uses his artistic practice as a way to celebrate marginalised bodies while activating strategies of decolonisation.
For Kalil, movement also means action: thinking and doing.

A deep passion for exploring and blurring the lines between dance, performance, poetry, and ritualistic practices. The power of evocative imagery is at the core of his work. Driven by dedication and creativity, he is involved in producing both group and solo pieces, using them as a platform to create archives and communicate messages about important social issues.
